Club Manager and/or Head Coach

Wide Bay Gymnastics Club – the largest gymnastics facility on the Fraser Coast – is searching for an enthusiastic, driven individual to join our team as Club Manager and/or Head Coach! As Club Manager/Head Coach you will:

  • Oversee all club operations and develop and implement strategies with the Executive Committee

  • Manage and report on club finances in collaboration with the Treasurer

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire coaches and staff to deliver exceptional programs

  • Build strong relationships with parents, athletes, volunteers, and the broader community

  • Supervise the development and safe delivery of all gymnastics programs

  • Coordinate staff rosters and ensure excellent customer service at the front desk

  • Ensure compliance with club policies and industry safety standards

  • Drive club promotion, outreach, and community engagement

  • Oversee suppliers and contractors to ensure value for money

  • Be hands-on in growing a strong, inclusive, and positive club culture

 

We’re after a motivated leader who:

  • Has experience in gymnastics coaching (WAG/MAG preferred) and/or club management

  • Thrives in a team environment and enjoys mentoring others

  • Is confident managing finances, schedules, and operational priorities

Report to our Coordinators, liaise with our volunteer Executive Committee members, and mentor junior staff. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the safety and upkeep of gymnastics equipment, promoting and marketing our programs, and fostering a positive experience for all members, staff, and class participants.
To be successful in this role, you will have
• First Aid and CPR Certificates (ability to obtain)
• Minimum of an Intermediate Gymnastics Coach Accreditation
• Technical Membership (ability to obtain)
• Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
• Intermediate judging qualification (desirable)
