ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is approaching, and we encourage all members to get involved.

Date: Thursday 22nd May 2025

Time: 6:00-7:00pm

Place: Wide Bay Gymnastics Club, Walkers Road, Urangan, QLD

As outlined in our constitution, Executive Committee members serve two-year terms, with positions staggered to maintain continuity. In alternating years, the President and Secretary roles are open one year, and the Vice President and Treasurer the next.

At this year’s AGM, the positions of President, Secretary, and Treasurer will be open for nomination. While the Treasurer role would normally be on the alternate cycle, a mid-term change in 2024 has resulted in this position being included in this year’s nominations. The successful nominee will serve until 2026, bringing the role back in line with the two-year rotation.

Please note that the 2025 AGM was postponed to allow time for the independent consultation currently underway. As a result, the upcoming committee term will be approximately 10 months in length, rather than the usual 12.
